Mohinder Singh Jus has following opinion on the subject of antidoting: ”when the selected remedy acts not in accordance with Herings’ law of cure, and when the peripheral symptoms improve but the mind and other life-sustaining organs are threatened, it needs to be antidoted. It can be antidoted by clinically verified and mentioned antidotes, eg arsenicum album can be antidoted by Camphora, Nux vomica, Hepar Sulfuris or Graphites. Another method to antidote would be to assess the case again and take the whole picture into account, the original and the new symptoms of the patient and choose the remedy which covers the totality. This works in my experience often wonders. Smelling of Camphor or drinking large quantities of herb teas or coffee etc. can also bring down the intensity of the unwanted symptoms but may not always suffise to affect the disturbed dynamic plane.”
